Maison Margiela ‘Tabi New’ dancer reinterprets an icon of the maison through a deconstructed silhouette in soft lambskin. The upper, declined in a delicate mint green shade, is characterized by a sophisticated play of handmade folds that give volume and texture to the design. The nappa has been subjected to a handcrafted treatment applied to the pleats, base and seams, handmade to create a vintage handcrafted effect. The model features the unmistakable ‘Tabi’ split toe, a tribute to the Japanese footwear tradition, and a thin leather bow on the neckline. The interior is lined in contrast leather with a printed logo, while the heel is sealed by the distinctive white ‘Signature’ stitching.
